About Me

Hi, I’m Pete an Artist/Designer from Liverpool UK. Since leaving school in 1986 my devotion has been to both Art and Graphic Design. Professionally, I taught for over 30 years as a Lecturer in Liverpool. I had a wonderful time teaching and enjoyed passing on my skills and experience to young people in Liverpool.

In 2022 I decided to leave teaching behind as I wanted to pursue my own Art and to see where that might take me. I am currently becoming obsessed with Ceramics and the world of Clay as it is very different to working in 2D.

My drawing based work usually involves lots of detail as I enjoy creating artwork that surprises people. They often gasp and say things like "No way!" and this makes me smile for some reason. It always has.

I like to work both traditionally on paper in various media and styles but I also enjoy drawing digitally on screen. This depends on the type of work I am creating, whether for clients or work I hope to sell to the public.

My Graphic works are more commercial and illustrative in nature and I enjoy portraiture a lot - please see my Folio page if interested.
Alongside this I have always liked drawing complex built environments.
